ABOUT THE ARCHIVE

Some things are remembered. Others have to be preserved.

ARCHIVE RECORD / 00

WELCOME TO RAVENWOOD

Ravenwood Archive is an independent collection of the strange, unexplained, and forgotten.

Here you’ll find documented folklore, cryptid sightings, paranormal encounters, unexplained phenomena, and accounts that have survived through rumor, testimony, and time.

Some have been told for generations. Others began with a photograph, a witness, or something that simply shouldn’t have happened.

Ravenwood exists to collect them, examine what remains, and keep the files open.

TWO COLLECTIONS

INSIDE THE ARCHIVE

Ravenwood separates documented mysteries from its original fictional case files. You’ll always know which kind of file you’re opening.

DOCUMENTED CASES

ARCHIVE FILES

Legends, sightings, folklore, paranormal reports, cryptids, and unexplained incidents drawn from real-world accounts and historical sources. Each file examines what was reported, what can be explained, and what still remains unanswered.

RAVENWOOD FICTION

ORIGINAL FILES

Original horror cases written and presented as documents from within the Ravenwood Archive. New entities, anomalies, witnesses, evidence, and investigations.

PROCEDURE

METHODOLOGY

Every file begins with what can be documented. Reports are compared, ordinary explanations are considered, and uncertainty is preserved where the evidence stops

01 / DOCUMENT

Collect what remains.

Witness accounts, historical records, photographs, reports, and available evidence are gathered into a single case file.

02 / EXAMINE

Consider the ordinary.

Mundane explanations are considered alongside unusual ones. Not every strange light is an unidentified aircraft. Sometimes someone owns a flashlight.

03 / PRESERVE

Leave questions open.

Ravenwood doesn’t exist to declare every mystery solved. Some cases remain contradictory, incomplete, or simply unexplained

ARCHIVE NOTICE

ABOUT OUR IMAGES

Ravenwood distinguishes reconstructed imagery, authentic source material, and fictional case imagery so the nature of each image is always clear.

01 / RECONSTRUCTION

Ravenwood Reconstructions

Imagery created as an artistic reconstruction based on reported witness descriptions. These images are clearly identified as Ravenwood Reconstructions and should not be interpreted as photographic evidence.

02 / SOURCE MATERIAL

Historical & Documentary Images

Historical photographs, documents, location images, and other authentic source material are identified separately whenever applicable.

03 / ORIGINAL FILES

Fictional Evidence

Original Files are works of fiction and may contain fictional evidence photographs, documents, surveillance images, and other materials created specifically for the case.
